The Flight That Started It All
How a 2014 trip to New Delhi sparked a lifelong obsession with travel.

The Flight That Started It All
April 4, 2014, is a date I will never forget. It was the day I boarded an airplane for the very first time.
Back then, air travel felt like an impossible dream. But my father, determined to make it happen, somehow managed to secure four tickets at a discounted rate. I was so overwhelmed with excitement that I made him take me to the airport a full week early, just so I could see what it looked like and figure out exactly what we needed to do on the big day.
It was a first for all four of us. When we finally took off for New Delhi, I sat there completely in awe that something like this even existed. Looking out the window, that was the exact moment my lifelong love for travel and aviation began.
That single flight changed my trajectory. Over the years, I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about the travel industry, figuring out every loophole, hack, and strategy to travel smart and see the world.
Exactly twelve years later, on April 4, 2026, I found myself boarding another flight. This time, the destination was Jordan, my 22nd country!
Looking back at the boy who was so excited he had to visit the airport a week early, I know one thing for sure: That little Harsh would be so incredibly proud.
